It has been announced that the “Suikoden” anime series will premiere as a television anime in 2026. The second image visual has also been unveiled.

The series is an animated adaptation of “Suikoden II,” a PlayStation RPG released by Konami Digital Entertainment (KONAMI) in 1998. Produced and produced by KONAMI animation, the film is directed by Sato Yuzo (MUTEKING THE Dancing HERO).

The second image visual shows the protagonist reaching out toward a night sky shining with 108 stars, alongside his childhood friend, Joey, who also looks up at the sky. The two are seen in military uniforms, sitting by a campfire at a campsite, reminiscing about their hometowns, on the eve of the story of “Suikoden II.”
