“A Married Woman’s Lips Taste Like Canned Chu-Hi” Anime Set to Premiere This July – Cast and Staff Announced

The anime adaptation of “A Married Woman’s Lips Taste Like Canned Chu-Hi” is set to premiere on TV this July. The main cast and staff for the broadcast version have also been officially revealed.

The anime is based on a manga currently serialized on Kodansha’s Young Magazine Web. It follows a “sinful omnibus story” centered on Tsuyoshi, a college student with a love for strong canned chu-hi, and his encounters with a group of troubled housewives.

Cast and Staff Comments Revealed for “A Married Woman’s Lips Taste Like Canned Chu-Hi” Anime

Takahide Ishii will voice the main character, Tsuyoshi, a college student with a taste for strong canned chu-hi. Shiho Kawaraki will play Yui Koriyama, Tsuyoshi’s married aunt.

The anime will be directed and scripted by Hajime Keima. Character design and color design are handled by Yoriko Karei, while animation production is by Raiose. Below are comments from the main staff:
