
All episodes of the first season of the TV anime will be screened in theaters.

“Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End” 2nd Anniversary Special Recap Screenings Announced
To celebrate the second anniversary of the TV anime Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, a special event titled “Season 1 Recap Screening: Memories of the Journey” will be held at nine theaters nationwide, including TOHO Cinemas Shinjuku in Tokyo.
The 28 episodes of Season 1 will be divided into five chapters and screened on September 27, October 11 and 25, and November 15 and 29. Attendees will receive exclusive character stickers (different designs for each screening date).
In addition, on September 26, TOHO Cinemas Roppongi Hills will host a special screening of Chapter 1 (Episodes 1–6, “Departure Arc”) featuring a stage greeting by Atsumi Tanezaki (Frieren), Kana Ichinose (Fern), and Chiaki Kobayashi (Stark). Tickets are priced at 2,700 yen.
The anime is based on the manga of the same name, currently serialized in Weekly Shonen Sunday. Set in a world where the Demon King has already been defeated by a band of heroes, the story follows Frieren, an elf mage who has lived for over a thousand years, as she embarks on new journeys with the people she meets. Produced by Madhouse, the first season aired from September 2023 to March 2024. Season 2 is scheduled to premiere in January 2026.
