“Assassination Classroom” Rebroadcast Launches with New OP & ED — Characters Dance to Addictive Rhythm
The TV anime Assassination Classroom will be rebroadcast on Fuji TV starting at 1:45 AM on April 10. Along with the rerun, the non-credit versions of the new opening theme “Yellow Signal” by Tomonari Sora and the new ending theme “Tsuki no Fune” by Atarayo have been released. The new footage features a catchy rhythm and dynamic appearances by the show’s beloved characters.

The new opening features an exciting sequence where characters appear one after another in sync with an addictive rhythm. In contrast, the new ending has a nostalgic tone, showcasing iconic scenes from the series projected on the screen of Ritsu, the AI student from Class 3-E.

In the ending sequence, the camera, initially focused on Ritsu, gradually pulls back to reveal Korosensei and another student, Nagisa, in the Class 3-E classroom. However, for some reason, the other students are nowhere to be seen. Fans are eager to see how this scene will evolve as the series progresses.
Assassination Classroom is based on the hit manga that was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2012 to 2016, with over 25 million copies sold. The story follows a mysterious creature named Korosensei, who possesses superhuman speed—Mach 20—and immense power. After declaring his intent to destroy Earth, he unexpectedly becomes the homeroom teacher of the underachieving Class 3-E at Kunugigaoka Junior High School. The students are then assigned a mission: to assassinate their seemingly invincible teacher before graduation. What follows is a year of intense growth, emotional conflict, and action-packed twists.
The anime adaptation premiered on Fuji TV in January 2015, and a live-action film starring Ryosuke Yamada was also released that same year.
