"Punish the Brave" to start airing in October

“Yuusha Keisatsu” to begin airing in October – first PV reveals anime footage and character voices, new key visuals also revealed

The new TV anime “Yuusha ni Toujou: Punishment Hero 9004 Corps Prison Records” is set to air from October, and the main staff, first key visual, and first PV have been announced.
The first key visual features many characters, and this is the first time that characters other than the main character, Zyro Forverts, have appeared. The first PV also features the first-ever anime footage and the first-ever character voices.

TV anime “Hero Punishment” PV 1st release | Broadcast begins in October 2025

The main staff includes director Hiroyuki Takashima, series composition and scriptwriter Kenta Ihara, assistant director and creature designer Yoshitake Nakakoji, character designer Takeshi Noda, world setting Nobutaka Ike, prop designer Kota Sugawa, and music by Shunsuke Takizawa. As already announced, animation production will be handled by Studio KAI.
The original novel by Rocket Shokai tells the story of Zylo Forverts, a former leader of the Holy Knights who was sentenced to the “Hero Punishment” punishment of becoming a “Hero” and fighting the Demon King, who makes a contract with Teorita, the strongest biological weapon “Goddess of Swords,” to take revenge on those who framed him, and throws himself into the midst of fierce battles and conspiracies. The cast will include Azakami Yohei as the main character Zyro Forbats, as well as Iizuka Mayu (Teoritta), Ishigami Shizuka (Patoche Kivia), Horie Shun (Dotta Luzlas), and Toki Shunichi (Venetim Leopool).
This information was announced on stage at the KADOKAWA booth at AnimeJapan 2025, which is being held at Tokyo Big Sight. An archive of the stage performance will be available to stream until April 27th.
