The anime “BEASTARS FINAL SEASON Part 2” will be exclusively distributed on Netflix in 2026, and the teaser visual has been released.
The teaser visual depicts the powerful figure of the main character Legoshi, who is trying to move forward on his own will, and the silhouette of “Melon”, a half-carnivore, half-herbivore criminal who appeared in “BEASTARS FINAL SEASON Part 1”, appears in the red moon shining behind Legoshi.
The original manga “BEASTARS” by Itagaki Paru was serialized in “Weekly Shonen Champion” (published by Akita Shoten) from 2016 to 2020, and has sold over 10 million copies worldwide. The story is set in a world where carnivores and herbivores coexist, and depicts animals struggling with their instincts while also experiencing friendships and love that transcend species, as they search for a way to live.
The anime version was produced by CG animation Studio Orange, with the first season airing in 2019 and the second in 2021. The FINAL SEASON, exclusively distributed on Netflix, marks the end of the series, and Part 1 is currently available.
