Visuals for the “Lost Singer” arc, the first main story of the new TV anime “Rascal Does Not Dream of Santa Claus” in the “Rascal Does Not Dream” series, have been released. Stills from the first episode, “Adolescence Never Ends,” have also been shown.

Anime “Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai” series | Schoolbag Girl Edition

The anime series “Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai” is based on a novel by Kamoshida Hajime, and depicts the interactions between the protagonist, Sakuta Azusagawa, and girls who have developed adolescent syndrome. The TV anime “Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai” was broadcast in 2018, and the movie versions “Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dreaming Girl” was released in June 2019, and “Rascal Does Not Dream of an Outing Sister” was released in June 2023. The high school arc was completed with “Rascal Does Not Dream of a Schoolbag Girl” released in December 2023.

This work, “Rascal Does Not Dream of Santa Claus”, is the “college student arc”, and the mysterious story of the girls with wavering hearts begins again. In episode 1, “Adolescence Never Ends,” six months have passed since Sakuta enrolled in university and he has been enjoying a peaceful campus life. However, he begins to feel something is off about Hirokawa Uzuki, the leader of the idol group “Sweet Bullet,” which includes Sakurajima Mai’s younger sister Nodoka.

“Rascal Does Not Dream of Santa Claus” will begin broadcasting on July 5th at 11:30 pm. Abema, U-NEXT, and Animehodai will simultaneously broadcast it on terrestrial TV (broadcast every Saturday at 11:30 pm from July 5th). Other distribution platforms will begin broadcasting it sequentially from July 8th.
