The first chapter of the “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinity Castle Arc” movie will premiere on July 18. As part of a countdown campaign on the official X account, a commemorative visual from the Natagumo Mountain Arc has been released.
On this day, a new visual for the Natagumo Mountain Arc of “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” was released, along with the message “84 days left until release.” To celebrate, the Natagumo Mountain Arc will be screened for a limited time starting today. The nostalgic visual has sparked a wave of reactions online, with comments like “This arc made me fall even deeper in love with Demon Slayer,” “Nezuko~ (tears),” and “Get your handkerchiefs ready—the Natagumo Mountain Arc will definitely make you cry.”

“Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” is based on the manga of the same name, which was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from February 2016 to May 2020. The series has sold over 150 million copies worldwide and remains incredibly popular. Set in the Taisho era, where man-eating demons roam, the story follows Tanjiro Kamado, a boy who joins the Demon Slayer Corps after his family is slaughtered by demons and his younger sister Nezuko is turned into one. His quest is to find a way to restore Nezuko’s humanity.

The TV anime “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc” aired from April to September 2019, followed by the movie “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Mugen Train,” which continued the story, released in October 2020. The “Entertainment District Arc” aired in December 2021, the “Swordsmith Village Arc” in April 2023, and the “Pillar Training Arc” from May to June 2024. It has also been announced that “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Mugen Castle Arc,” which continues the story after the “Pillar Training Arc,” will be adapted into a movie trilogy.
