“Funeral of Frieren” mini anime restarts, new episode “Magic to Increase Height” released

A mini anime is restarting ahead of the second season.

In preparation for the second season of the TV anime “Furiren no Souken”, the mini anime “Furiren no Souken ~●●’s Magic~” has restarted, and the new episode, episode 12 “The Magic to Grow Taller”, was released on April 2nd.

In episode 12 of the mini anime, Furiren, who is often stroked on the head by Heiter during the hero party’s journey, is told that she is “just the right height for a head stroke”, and remembers the “magic to grow taller” that she received as a reward. Starting with episode 12, the mini anime will be released on the first Wednesday of every month from April to September on the TOHO animation channel on YouTube, the official “Furiren no Souken” anime X and TikTok.

Funeral of Freiren Mini Anime “●●’s Magic” Episode 12: “Magic to Grow Taller”

This work, an animated version of the manga serialized in “Weekly Shonen Sunday”, is set in a world where the Demon King has been defeated by a hero and his party, and follows the journey of Freiren, a magician who has lived for over 1,000 years and was part of the party, and the people she meets. The first season of the TV anime produced by Madhouse will air from September 2023 to March 2024. The second season, which will start in January 2026, will continue from the end of the first season, when Freiren, Fern, and Stark set off from the land of Oisarst, the setting of the “First Class Wizard Exam Arc”.
