“Ninja and Yakuza” to be made into a TV anime – Who will live or die? – depicting the exchange of life and death between a ninja and a yakuza

It has been decided that Kondo Shinsuke’s manga “Ninja and Yakuza” will be adapted into a TV anime. In addition, a visual of the TV anime adaptation drawn by Kondo and a congratulatory comment were also announced.

The story, which is currently being serialized in Kodansha’s “Comic DAYS”, depicts the encounter between Shino, a young ninja who cannot laugh due to trauma, and Kiwami, a gangster who is an elite company employee on the surface but controls a gang behind the scenes, and the flames of a 300-year-old battle between ninjas and gangsters burning hot. The visual for the TV anime adaptation shows the characters sparking off a battle with the words, “Shall we decide… Ninjas and gangsters, which one will live and which one will die?”
To commemorate the decision to make the TV anime, all episodes of “Ninja and Gangster” except for the latest one are available for free on “Comic DAYS” until March 3rd.

[Kondo Shinsuke (author)] So, it has been decided that “Ninja and Yakuza” will be made into an anime!! My editor and I had always said, “It’s impossible to make it into a film…” but it’s a miracle that it has come true!! The staff put their love into making Ninja Kiwami to the very limit of what can be broadcasted! I can really feel their passion!!! I hope all members of the cast look forward to the broadcast as well!!!
