It has been decided that Amara’s novel “The Cat and the Dragon” will be made into a TV anime. A special trailer announcing the decision to make the anime has also been released.

The original is a heartwarming fantasy novel that attracted attention when it won the number one spot on the daily rankings for a short story on “Let’s Become a Novelist”, which is unusual for a short story. It tells the story of the bond between a dragon raised by cats, the cats, and humans. The latest volume 8 of the original novel is scheduled to be released in early April, and the fourth paperback, “Cat and Dragon: A Dragon’s Matchmaking and a Flying Cat,” will be released on March 5th. A comic adaptation by Sasaki Izumi is also being serialized on “Kono Manga ga Sugoi! WEB” and “Manga Box”, and the latest volume 11 will be released on April 3rd.

The trailer for the anime adaptation includes various scenes using illustrations from the comic book version. At the end of the video, there is a newly recorded voice of Nekoryu, whose cast will be announced at a later date, announcing the decision to make a TV anime in cat language.

Congratulations on the anime adaptation of “The Cat and the Dragon”! I first worked on “The Cat and the Dragon” about nine years ago. Now, I’m really happy to have been involved in its wonderful development. It’s such a warm and gentle work that I love, and I’ve heard stories of people putting it in their school libraries. Now, it’s been made into an anime, and I think it will heal the hearts of many people.
