"Welcome to the Exiles' Diner!" begins airing in July

“Welcome to the Exiles’ Diner!” starring Takeuchi Shunsuke and Tachibana Marika to begin airing in July; teaser PV showing first anime footage released

It has been decided that the TV anime “Welcome to the Exiles’ Diner!” will start airing in July, and it has been revealed that Takeuchi Shunsuke and Tachibana Marika will appear. The main staff and teaser PV have also been released.

The original work by Yuki Kimikawa, which originated from the novel submission site “Let’s Become a Novelist”, is a popular fantasy novel (published by Overlap) that has sold over 900,000 copies in total. The story follows Dennis, who was expelled from a top adventurer’s guild, as he opens a diner with Atelier, a former slave girl, and solves the troubles caused by the eccentric adventurers with his “strongest cooking skills”.

Takeuchi plays Dennis, a bold character who cannot ignore people in trouble, who is expelled from the top adventurer party “Silver Wing Battalion” and opens his own restaurant, which is his dream, earning him the nickname “Legendary Fried Rice.” Tachibana plays Atelier, who is picked up by Dennis after being sold as a slave and becomes the poster girl for the adventurer’s diner.
The director is Shimura Joji from “Animal Crossing: The Movie,” the series is composed by Akao Deko from “Komi-san wa, Comyushou desu.”, and the character design is by Yamato Aoi from “Isekai Bishojou Ojisan to.” The animation will be produced by OLM Team Yoshioka from “Diner to Another World 2.”
The teaser PV will feature footage from the main story and the character voices of Dennis and Atelier for the first time. It shows the two working together to open a diner, and also includes footage of adventurers who visit feasting on the delicious food.

[Marika Tachibana (Atelier)]

I’m Marika Tachibana, who will be playing the role of Atelier. This is the first time I’ve been chosen as a regular in an anime, and I was very happy when I was surprised to hear that I would be playing the role. I tried and tested many things while dubbing so that people would love Atelier and this work. I think this is a warm work that makes you think that even if you’re sad or in pain, you can manage it if you have someone to support you. Please enjoy watching Atelier and the others’ growth while enjoying the delicious food made by Dennis!

[Jouji Shimura (Director)] I’m Jouji Shimura, who will be the director. When I accepted the role, I thought that I wanted to be the biggest fan of this work. ^_^ And I wanted to put the feelings I had when I read it into the work. I wanted to create a work that would make you feel like a regular customer sitting at the counter while feeling the atmosphere or warmth of the restaurant and the smell of the food flowing by, and I hope that people will love Atelier, Henrietta, Vivia, Bachel, and the others who gather there.
