The first installment of the original anime series “Virgin Punk” by Yasuomi Umetsu and Shaft will be released on June 27th and will be shown at movie theaters in Tokyo and Osaka.

The theatrical release date for the original anime “Virgin Punk Clockwork Girl” has been decided as June 27th. It will be shown at Cine Libre Ikebukuro (Tokyo) and Theatre Umeda (Osaka).
The film is directed and character designed by anime director and animator Umezu Yasuomi, known for “A KITE” and “Wizard Barristers: Benmashi Cecil”, and is the first in the anime series “Virgin Punk”, produced in collaboration with Shaft, the creators of “Puella Magi Madoka Magica”. The story depicts the suffering of Ubu, a girl who lives as a bounty hunter, and the desires and chaos woven by the people around her.
