“The One Who Steals This Book” Anime Film to Premiere Dec 26

The theatrical anime “The Book Stealer” has been set for release on December 26th. Teaser flyers and a 30-second trailer are available at theaters.

The film is based on a mystery-solving fantasy adventure novel by Nobi Fukimizu, nominated for the 2021 Bookstore Award. After a book is stolen and a curse causes the entire town to be engulfed in the world of the story, protagonist Mifuyu Mikura embarks on an adventure with the mysterious girl Mashiro to find the book thief.

“The Book Stealer” will be released nationwide on December 26th at Shinjuku Wald 9 in Tokyo and other theaters.
