Seventh Prince Season 2 Premieres July

The second season of the TV anime “I Was Reincarnated as the Seventh Prince, So I Will Carefully Master Magic” is scheduled to begin airing on TV Tokyo and other networks in July, with Manaka Iwami and Minami Tsuda confirmed to appear. A teaser visual has also been released.

The original work, currently serialized on the novel submission website “Let’s Become a Novelist,” is a fantasy novel by Humble Circle (published by Kodansha). A comic adaptation by Yosuke Ishizawa is currently being serialized on Kodansha’s manga app “Magazine Pocket,” and the series has sold over 7 million copies. The story follows an ordinary magician who loved magic but died a tragic death due to his lack of lineage and talent. He is reincarnated as Lloyd (voiced by Makoto Koichi), the seventh prince of the Kingdom of Saloom, who possesses extraordinary magical powers, and carefreely masters magic. The first season of the TV anime aired for 12 episodes from April to June 2024. In the second season, “Church Arc,” Lloyd, who has won a battle against the demon Gizarm, visits a church in the kingdom to learn “sacred magic.”

Iwami plays Isha, a kind-hearted nun with a beautiful singing voice who serves at a church in the Dane district of the Kingdom of Saloum. Tsuda plays Lloyd’s older sister (the fourth princess), Saria, who is a master of all instruments but is indifferent to anything other than music. It has also been announced that the two will appear alongside lead actress Koichi at a special stage for the series to be held on the WHITE STAGE from 12:30 PM on March 22nd at AnimeJapan 2025, to be held at Tokyo Big Sight.

The teaser visual depicts Lloyd, Isha, and Saria in nun’s robes, with the church’s beautiful stained-glass windows as their backdrop.

This production often involves comical improvisation, but I’m always inspired by the entertaining acting of my co-stars! I’m playing Isha, a kind, playful, and naive sister who sings beautifully! I’m Minami Tsuda, and I’ll be playing Saria. Saria is like a musical genius, having mastered every instrument… She’s quiet, but when it’s time to show Lloyd what’s good, she’ll shout “Funsu!” like a big sister to Lloyd. And the face she makes when she says “Funsu!” is just too cute! The Seventh Prince is so cute when he makes a comical face! Those chubby cheeks… I just want to poke him (lol). Look out for Lloyd and his friends, who combine cuteness and coolness, as well as new characters in Season 2!
