Synopsis: Being a hero is the worst punishment in the world. Those who commit grave sins become “heroes” and are sentenced to fight the Demon King. Even if they are killed, they are resurrected, and even death is not permitted. Zylo Forverts, a former commander of the Holy Knights who was sentenced to the heroic punishment, leads a punitive hero unit made up of personality-challenged individuals and races to the front lines of battle. In the midst of this harsh situation, Zylo meets Teorita, the “Sword Goddess,” one of the most powerful biological weapons. “When you have annihilated the enemy, praise me…and pat me on the head.” To survive, and to exact revenge on those who framed him… Zylo makes a contract with the “Goddess” and finds himself thrown into the midst of fierce battles and conspiracies in a hopeless world.
