Synopsis: July 1, 2020. Mizuho, a second-year high school student, is having the worst possible time turning 17. Her chance to get closer to the senior she admires is gone, and her parents have completely forgotten about her birthday. Furthermore, with the spread of an unknown infectious disease, club competitions and school trips canceled, Mizuho thinks she’ll never have a “sparkling youth.” But then, her childhood friend, Teruzuki, suddenly declares himself a potential boyfriend. Teruzuki’s actions prompt Miku to confess her feelings to Mizuho, leaving her bewildered. Furthermore, Ai and Shugo also begin to pursue their own romantic interests, and the relationships between the five of them begin to crumble. This coming-of-age story depicts the love affairs between four childhood friends who grew up like family and the protagonist, Nishino Miho.
