TM NETWORK’s “BEYOND THE TIME ~Beyond the Moebius Universe~” will be used as a surprise insert song in the currently airing TV anime “Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuX,” and it has also been revealed that a new version of the song will be released. It has also been revealed that a support screening of the theatrical advance version of “Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuX -Beginning-” will be held.

The insert song for episode 11 is a TM NETWORK masterpiece! “BEYOND THE TIME ~Beyond the Moebius Universe~” was written as the theme song for “Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack” released in 1988. It has been covered by many artists, and the surprise development of the song and the direction in episode 11 of “Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX” caused a stir among viewers. The new versions of “BEYOND THE TIME (Beyond the Moebius Universe) -2025 Version-” and “BEYOND THE TIME (Beyond the Moebius Universe) -2025 Short Edit-” will be available on various music distribution services from midnight on June 19th (midnight on June 18th). The jacket artwork for the distribution uses illustrations of Amuro Ray and Char Aznable drawn by Yasuomi Umetsu, the original artist for the original release in 1988. A special video featuring a snippet of the song along with the fierce battle between Amuro and Char has also been released.

Cheering screenings of the theatrical advance version of “Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuX -Beginning-” will be held at TOHO Cinemas Shinjuku in Tokyo and TOHO Cinemas Namba in Osaka from 7pm on July 3rd. Tickets will be priced at the regular price for each theater, and will be available at each theater from midnight on July 1st (midnight on June 30th). An instructional video has also been released on the official Gundam YouTube channel, “Gundam Channel,” in which Shimba Tsuchiya, who plays Shuuji Ito, explains the rules of the cheering screening.
