The absurd comedy manga “Come to Magical Girl Village (Illegal Occupation)” has been adapted into a short anime with 13 episodes, each one minute long, and will be broadcast on Kansai Telecasting Corporation (Kan-tele) from 3:15 a.m. on April 3rd. Iwami Manaka, Izawa Shiori, Uesaka Sumire, Obara Riko, and Sugita Tomokazu will appear. The key visual has also been released.
The original story by Gingham is currently being serialized on his SNS and other platforms. The story follows 43-year-old office worker Tomakomai, who is subjected to power harassment and transforms into an immortal magical girl, but ends up causing great harm to those around him. He then takes refuge in the “Magical Girl Village,” where magical girls from various backgrounds live and encourage each other, spending his days in the village. Eleven volumes of the e-book version have already been published.

Tomakomai

Iwami will play Tomakomai, who will suffer forever as a magical girl. Among the magical girls living in the village, Izawa will play the lively Nemuro, Uesaka will play the drunken village chief Harukou, and Obara will play Kushiro, Harukou’s caretaker. Sugita will play Kanagawa, a hard-working staff member of the Anti-Magic Agency’s Magical Girl Countermeasures Office. Obara will also sing the theme song “A Village Where Monsters Gather” as Kushiro, with lyrics written by Gingham.
The key visual shows nine magical girls who stay in the “Magical Girl Village” despite being considered dangerous by the local community.
The animation director will be Takeshi Onaka of “Marron and Zuimy,” and the animation will be produced by Kachidoki Studio, which teamed up with Onaka on “Kyou mo Tsuno ga Aru.” The script will be written by Gingham and Onaka.
