The light novel “Water Magician” has been adapted into a TV anime, scheduled to begin airing on TBS in July.
Ayumu Murase will play the protagonist Ryo, who is reincarnated into a world of swords and magic. Nozomi Urawa will play the adventurer swordsman Abel, and Kaede Hondo will play the adventurer magic swordsman Sarah.
The series follows Ryo, who has become the greatest magician in humanity after continuing to use water magic in the forests of another world, as he meets the swordsman Abel and embarks on a leisurely adventure.
The series is directed by Hideyuki Satake, with series composition by Jun Kumagai and character design by Yuka Kozutsumi. Animation production is handled by Taifu Graphics and Wonderland.

Congratulations to my child (a work called “Water Wizard”) who has grown to the point where it has been made into an anime. Thank you to all the readers who supported it up until it was made into an anime, and to the many people who made it possible. Ryo and Abel, who were talking and jumping around in my head, will now be showing their movements in front of everyone… Yes, there’s no way I wouldn’t look forward to this. I’m really happy to be able to watch them move together with everyone.
