Based on the manga by Kohei Horikoshi, the anime “My Hero Academia” is set in a world where approximately 80% of the population possesses supernatural powers known as “Quirks.” The story follows protagonist Izuku Midoriya (Deku), who inherited All Might’s “One For All” Quirk, as he and his friends strive to become the greatest hero.
The fourth film, “My Hero Academia THE MOVIE: Your Next,” features an original story, with Horikoshi, the original author, serving as overall supervisor and character designer for the previous films. A society devastated by an all-out war between heroes and villains faces new threats: Dark Mite, a mysterious man who looks just like All Might; the mysterious criminal organization “Gorrini Family”; and a gigantic fortress that engulfs cities and people. The story follows the students of Class 1-A at U.A. High School as they fight to protect the world.
