This is the 10th TV series based on the anime version of the “Digital Monster” game series, and the first completely new work in two years since the end of “Digimon Ghost Game”. The anime version, which began with the theatrical animation “Digimon Adventure” released in 1999, has produced 9 TV series and 11 theatrical animation titles so far, depicting the bond between “Digimon”, digital lifeforms living in the cyberspace “Digital World”, and boys and girls living in the real world.

The protagonist of this work, Tomorrow, is a 15-year-old boy in his first year of high school. His partner Digimon, Gekkomon, is a growing, reptile, data-type Digimon. Details of each character and the worldview of the work have not been revealed.

It has also been decided that the world’s first screening of the first episode of the series will be held at the “DIGIMON EXPO’25”, a major “Digimon” series event to be held at Tokyo Dome City Prism Hall on September 20th.

Meet Tenma Tomorrow and Gekkomon — A Fresh Duo for a New Digital Adventure

Original Commentary in English:

The reveal of Tenma Tomorrow and Gekkomon as the central protagonists marks a bold new direction for the “Digimon” franchise. Tenma’s futuristic-sounding name hints at themes of destiny and progress, while Gekkomon — traditionally a supporting character — stepping into the spotlight could signal a more playful or unexpected narrative tone. With the series slated for an October release, fans can expect a blend of classic Digimon nostalgia with a modern twist. This visual debut sets the tone for what might be one of the most unique seasons in recent Digimon history.
