The first promotional video for the TV anime “Dandadan” Season 2, which premieres on July 3, has been released.

The original work by Tatsuyuki Shinobu is a popular occult battle manga with over 10 million copies in circulation, currently serialized on Shueisha’s manga app Shonen Jump+.

Momo Ayase (voiced by Shion Wakayama), born into a family of spiritualists, believes in ghosts but denies the existence of aliens. Meanwhile, Ken Takakura, aka “Okarun” (voiced by Natsuki Hanae), is an occult fanatic who believes in aliens but denies ghosts. After being cursed by the yokai Turbo Granny (voiced by Mayumi Tanaka), he gains the ability to transform. Together, they face off against looming supernatural threats.

The first season of the TV anime aired from October to December 2024 with 12 episodes, and is currently being rebroadcast on MBS, TBS, and other networks from April.

The first PV features a mysterious man in briefs who says, “I finally got a body,” and a monstrous creature with its mouth wide open—both previously shown in the key visual released in April.

The video shows them attacking Momo, Okarun, and others, with dramatic keywords like “Impossible to escape,” “Underground battle,” “Strongest enemy,” “Evil eye,” “200 years of grudge,” and “Great explosion!” flashing across the screen.
