The story follows the genius boy Ishigami Senku (CV: Kobayashi Yusuke), who wakes up 3,700 years after the petrification phenomenon that struck the entire world, and his friends as they use their scientific knowledge to restore civilization to the “Stone World”, which has become like the Stone Age. The first season of the TV anime, “Dr. Stone,” aired in July 2019, the second in 2021, and the third season, “Dr. Stone New World,” in 2023. The fourth and final season, “Dr. Stone Science Future,” is split into three seasons, with the first season, which began in January this year, airing on March 27th.
In the second season of “Dr. Stone Science Future,” Senku and the Kingdom of Science take Dr. Zeno (Nojima Kenji) hostage and split into two groups to head to South America, where the battle between the Kingdom of Science and Stanley Snyder (Yusa Koji) and others reaches a new stage.
To commemorate the broadcast of the second season, a new illustration of Senku and Zeno drawn by character designer Iwasa Yuko has been released.
