"Necronomiko's Cosmic Horror Show" to start broadcasting in July

Cygames’ original TV anime “Necronomiko’s Cosmic Horror Show” to begin airing in July; additional cast members announced

The TV anime “Necronomiko’s Cosmic Horror Show” is scheduled to start broadcasting in July, and the additional cast members, Reiji Kawashima, Atsushi Tamaru, Hazuki Ogino, Taichi Ichikawa, Kyohei Natsume, Hiroki Yasumoto, and Sayumi Watanabe, have been announced. The second teaser PV and second teaser visual have also been released.
The work is an original work by Cygames, the creators of “Uma Musume: Pretty Derby” and “Akiba Meido Senso”. After graduating from junior high school, Necronomiko, also known as Kurono Miko (CV: Sugiyama Riho), begins her dream of becoming a live streamer (broadcaster). While spending her days with her childhood friend Maimuzaka Mayu (Iwami Manaka) and rival Kagurazaka Kanna (Hasumi Nana), she receives a request for a new VR game and conquers the mysterious game with the unique live streamers she meets. Animation will be handled by Studio Gokumi, the studio behind “I Ended Up Marrying the Girl I Hated the Most in My Class.”

Kawashima will play the popular high school gamer Eita, Tamaru will play the math teacher and class streamer Sano Seijiro, Ogino will play the actress Tsukasa Tsugumi, who is trying to make a comeback as a lifestyle streamer, Ichikawa will play the popular manga artist and drawing streamer NAO-KICHI who participates in games to get material for his next work, Natsume will play the folklorist and occult streamer Takajo Hiroshi, Yasumoto will play the gentlemanly but trickster and sarcastic game master, and Watanabe will play Amamuro Kei, an assistant director in the Megarocks Amusement Development Department and a considerate and common-sense person.

The new characters announced this time appear with voices in the second teaser PV. The video shows the unique live streamers being invited by Kei to immerse themselves in the world of VR games. The second teaser visual shows the main characters gathered together with the catchphrase “This world (game) is so fun it’s crazy!!”

It has also been decided that the earliest advance screening will be held at a certain location in Tokyo on June 1st. The latest information and new characters will be revealed at a talk show featuring Sugiyama, Hatsumi, Iwami, and Yasumoto.
“Necronomiko’s Cosmic Horror Show” will begin broadcasting in July on TOKYO MX, Kansai Telecasting, BS Nippon TV, and others.
