”Twisted Wonderland”teaser PV also released

In “Twisted Wonderland” Season 1, Azakami Yohei will play the role of the player character Enman Yuuken, and the opening theme will be the game’s theme song. A teaser PV has also been released.

The new cast, opening theme, and teaser PV for season 1 “Episode of Heartslabyul” of the animated series “Disney Twisted Wonderland The Animation”, which will be exclusively distributed on Disney+ in October, have been announced.

Yohei Azakami will play the role of Enman Yuuken, who appears in place of the player character in the original game. Yuuken is a male high school student who is a member of the kendo club and appears in the comic version of “Episode of Heartslabyul”, and is transferred from the real world to the magician training school “Night Raven College”.

The opening theme will be the theme song for the original game, “Piece of my world.” The anime’s soundtrack will be written by Takumi Ozawa, who also wrote the music for the original game, and will also write new songs.

The series is based on a smartphone game nicknamed “Twisted Wonderland.” Yana Toboso of “Black Butler” is in charge of the original concept, main scenario, and character design, and characters based on Disney villains appear as students at Night Raven College. The anime version is scheduled to be produced in three seasons: Season 1 “Episode of Heartslabyul,” Season 2 “Episode of Savanaclaw,” and Season 3 “Episode of Octavinelle.”

The teaser PV shows the principal of Night Raven College, Dear Crowley, welcoming Yuuken when he wanders into the school’s entrance ceremony, the dorm leaders including Riddle of the Heartslabyul dorm, and Grimm, an animal-like creature who aspires to be a magician.

This information was announced at the “Disney Twisted Wonderland The Animation” stage at “AnimeJapan 2025,” which is being held at Tokyo Big Sight.
