The third feature-length animated film of “Butt Detective”, “Butt Detective: Star and Moon”, has released footage and stills that capture the childhood of Butt Detective’s rival, the “greatest thief of the century”, Thief U.

The main highlight of this film is that Butt Detective and Thief U, who are incompatible roles as a “detective” and a “phantom thief”, temporarily team up to thwart a terrible plot and take on a major incident. This is a first for both the anime series and the movie series.

In the main video, you can see Pirate U as a child sitting in front of Pirate B and Pirate K who are running around innocently on the beach at dusk. He is holding the secret stone “Moonlight Stone” that is the key to the story. Pirate U is saying to someone, “Come here. When I hold the Moonlight Stone, I feel nostalgic. And I feel the power to fly to the moon.” He holds out his hand and says, “I will go to the moon someday. Do you want to come too?” But who is there at the other end? The secrets of Pirate U that have never been revealed before will be revealed.

The story takes place on Stardust Island.

The story then shifts to the present, where the grown-up Detective U teams up with Butt Detective to take back the Moonstone from Detective G, the boss of the Detective Academy, and travels to Stardust Island, where the story takes place.
“Butt Detective: Star and Moon” will be released on March 20th.
