Synopsis: In the BC era, in the western state of Qin, Shin, a former servant, aspires to become the “Great General of the World.” He shares the same aspirations as King Ying Zheng, who aspires to end the chaotic times by unifying China, something no one has ever accomplished before. He serves on the battlefield as the captain of the Qin army’s Hi Shin Unit. Meanwhile, Ying Zheng has regained control of the country from his political rival, Prime Minister Lü Buwei. With the cooperation of military commander-in-chief Changping Jun and legalist Li Si, he begins to work toward the establishment of a new “state governed by law” through the unification of China. The Qin army, plotting an offensive, aims to capture western Zhao from their new base, Heiyang Hill. However, their plans were thwarted by the strategy of Zhao’s genius military strategist, Li Mu, who saw the Qin state’s moves to unify China as a threat and quickly took countermeasures. In response, Changping Jun proposed a clever plan to attack Ye, a city near Zhao’s capital, Handan. To counter Li Mu, an allied force was formed consisting of three armies led by Wang Jian, a brilliant military strategist, Kanki, and Yang Duanhe. Furthermore, the highly anticipated new generation of soldiers, Shin’s “Hi Shin Unit,” Meng Tian’s “Rakuka Unit,” and Wang Ben’s “Gyoku Hou Unit,” joined as independent mobile forces.
