On April 22nd, the official “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” website released a special mini illustration to celebrate Inosuke’s birthday.

On X (formerly Twitter), an illustration was posted with the message: “April 22nd is Inosuke’s birthday! To celebrate, we’ve released a mini character illustration drawn by ufotable. Be sure to check it out!” In the image, Inosuke is shown without his boar mask, enjoying a feast that includes daifuku and tempura soba.

Fans have responded with comments such as, “I thought he was eating a dinosaur egg… it seems possible for Inosuke,” “Congratulations Inosuke-kun!! So cute!! I love him!!,” “Eat lots of delicious food,” and “The bean daifuku is huge lol.”

“Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” is based on the hit manga series serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from February 2016 to May 2020, with over 150 million copies sold worldwide. Set in the Taisho era, a time plagued by man-eating demons, the story follows Tanjiro Kamado, a kind-hearted boy who joins the Demon Slayer Corps after his family is slaughtered and his sister Nezuko is turned into a demon. His mission: to find a way to turn her back into a human.

The TV anime “Tanjiro Kamado: Unwavering Resolve Arc” aired from April to September 2019, followed by the film “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train,” which continued the story from the anime’s final episode and premiered in October 2020. The “Entertainment District Arc” aired in December 2021, the “Swordsmith Village Arc” in April 2023, and the “Hashira Training Arc” from May to June 2024. It has been announced that the next installment, the “Mugen Castle Arc,” will be adapted into a trilogy of theatrical films, continuing the story directly from the final episode of the “Hashira Training Arc.”
