Synopsis
What happened to the girls on a southern island one summer may happen to us someday… How do we feel when our peaceful daily lives suddenly turn into a battlefield and our lives are put in a hopeless situation? Based on the manga “Cocoon” by Machiko Konno, inspired by the Battle of Okinawa during the Pacific War, young talents and veterans who are expected to be the future of Japanese animation have drawn this story as one they want to deliver in 2025. An animation that makes you think about the past, present, and future.
