In the third week of August, “Kaiju No. 8” (Season 2) claimed the top spot in the Summer 2025 most-watched anime rankings, holding a four-point lead over second-place “Togen Anki.” With such a narrow margin, either series could seize the No. 1 position next week.
“Dandadan” (Season 2) maintained third place, followed by “Yofukashi no Uta” (Season 2) in fourth and “SAND LAND: THE SERIES” in fifth—unchanged from last week. “Fermat’s Cooking” secured sixth place, while “Hell Teacher Nube” ranked seventh.
