The Apothecary Diaries Tops Spring 2025 Anime Recording Rankings for 14th Straight Week

In the second week of April, The Apothecary Diaries (Season 2) secured the top spot in the 2025 spring anime recording rankings for the 14th consecutive week. Despite the arrival of a fresh lineup for the new season, the series has retained its dominance since the previous cour.

Taking second and third place again this week are After Dinner Mysteries and A Country Old Man Becomes a Sword Saint, respectively. Following them are LAZARUS, Kowloon Generic Romance, The Saint Who Was Broken Off Her Engagement Because She Was Too Perfect and Not Cute is Sold to a Neighboring Country, and Rock is a Lady’s Pleasure.

Although Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX has been generating considerable buzz, it was excluded from the rankings due to its time slot overlapping with the popular variety show The Night Ueda and the Woman Howl in DEEP. Had it been eligible, its 64-point performance would have placed it at No. 3.

Additionally, Detective Conan: The Million Dollar Five-Pointed Star will make its terrestrial TV debut on April 18 via Friday Road Show.
