“Re:ZERO” 4th season production confirmed; special trailer and teaser visuals of Subaru and Emilia visiting a desert town revealed

The production of the fourth season of the TV anime “Re:ZERO − Starting Life in Another World,” whose third season ended on March 26, has been decided. A special trailer and teaser visual have been released.
“Re:ZERO − Starting Life in Another World” is based on a popular fantasy novel by Nagatsuki Tappei, which is currently being serialized on the novel submission site “Let’s Become a Novelist.” The story depicts Natsuki Subaru (CV: Kobayashi Yusuke), who is summoned to another world, using his special ability “Return by Death,” which allows him to rewind time by dying, to face the harsh fate that awaits him. The TV anime began in 2016, with the second season being split into two cours from 2020 to 21, the third season: Attack Arc from October to November 2024, and the third season: Counterattack Arc from February to March 2025.

The teaser video shows Subaru and Emilia (Rie Takahashi) visiting a desert town and stopping off at a bar to take a break. The first teaser visual shows Subaru and friends surrounding Rem (Inori Minase) in a wheelchair. A congratulatory illustration from character designer Shinichiro Otsuka was also released.

It was also revealed that Kohara Yoshimi will be playing Louis Arneb, Archbishop of the Witch Cult of Gluttony, who appeared in episode 66 of “3rd Season Counterattack Arc”, “Results of the Battle of Pristella”.
The new character Louis will be voiced by Kobayashi Yoshimi

Just looking at the teaser visuals brings out all sorts of emotions – the familiar girl is there, Subaru isn’t wearing his jersey, an enemy is there, and Julius has a sad look on his face.
