Synopsis
-Beyond the curtain. A world that will never concern me– Chidori, a low-tier boys’ school where idiots gather, is hated by Kikyo Girls’, a prestigious girls’ school. The curtains are always drawn, and they’ve never even seen the classrooms in the adjacent building. Tsumugi Rintaro, a student at Chidori, is always judged as scary by his appearance and shunned, leading him to gradually distance himself from others. One day, while helping out at his family’s cake shop, he meets Kaoruko, a customer. “I’ve never thought of you as scary, Rintaro-kun.” While confused, Rintaro begins to feel comfortable with Kaoruko, who treats him without prejudice, but she turns out to be a student at Kikyo… A vibrant school tale of youth woven by these two “close yet far” people.
