The animated film The Rose of Versailles will be available exclusively on Netflix starting April 30.

Based on the beloved manga by Riyoko Ikeda, the film follows the dramatic and passionate life of Oscar François de Jarjayes (voiced by Miyuki Sawashiro), a noblewoman raised as a man who serves and protects Queen Marie Antoinette (voiced by Aya Hirano) during the chaos of the French Revolution. The animation was produced by MAPPA, the acclaimed studio behind Jujutsu Kaisen. The film originally premiered in Japanese theaters on January 31 of this year.
