“The Gentle Aristocrat’s Vacation Recommendation Anime Premieres January 2026 – Teaser Visual & PV Out Now”

The upcoming TV anime “The Gentle Noble’s Vacation Recommendation,” based on Misaki’s popular novel, is set to premiere in January 2026. The main staff and cast have been revealed, along with a new teaser visual and teaser PV.

Based on the hit novel series with over 1.8 million copies sold, this story is currently being published as both a novel and manga by TO Books. The protagonist, Lizel, is a young man known as the brilliant prime minister of a powerful nation in a fantasy world. One day, while speaking with his subordinates, Lizel suddenly finds himself transported to another world. Despite the unexpected turn of events, he remains calm and quickly wins over those around him with his intelligence and eloquence. Embracing this new world as a “vacation,” Lizel sets out on a laid-back adventure as an adventurer, enjoying his new life to the fullest in this relaxing isekai fantasy.

The main staff for the anime includes Kenta Noda as director, Yosuke Suzuki in charge of series composition, Akihito Fujiwara as character designer, and music by Kosuke Yamashita. Animation production is handled by SynergySP, with production cooperation from Ascension.

The cast features Soma Saito as Lizel, a young noble who suddenly finds himself transported to another world and decides to treat it as a relaxing “vacation.” Yuichiro Umehara voices Jill, a lone wolf who trusts no one but ends up becoming Lizel’s partner.

The newly released teaser visual shows Lizel and Jill taking a peaceful stroll through the royal capital, while the teaser PV highlights the beginning of the story and the moment they meet in the other world.

Original author Misaki shared their excitement, saying, “I’m still processing the surprise—only three volumes of the novel are out, and now there’s a manga, a drama CD, and even an anime adaptation. I can’t keep up with reality!” Illustrator Sando commented, “I can’t wait for the broadcast, and I’m sure the fans feel the same!” Meanwhile, Momochi, director of the manga adaptation, added, “I’m beyond excited! Let’s all look forward to the premiere!”

—What is your impression of this work?
What struck me first was the concept of traveling to a world that isn’t completely different from our own, but just slightly off—and spending a dignified, leisurely holiday there. I thought that idea was truly wonderful. I was fortunate enough to read the original work as part of my preparation, and I really enjoyed the witty exchanges not only between Lizel, Jill, and the Elevens, but also among the many other charming characters. And personally… the food looks absolutely delicious! If a collaboration café were to recreate some of those dishes, I’d definitely want to visit.

—Tell us about your enthusiasm for playing the character.
Lizel carries himself with such elegance that anyone would recognize him as noble, and I believe his unique outlook on the world really sets the tone for the entire story. What makes him so appealing, though, is that he’s not the strongest or a genius—he doesn’t try to control everything. Instead, he simply enjoys his time in this new world as a “vacation,” and that laid-back attitude is something I truly love about him. He also has some adorable traits—like how hard it is for him to wake up in the morning, or how poorly he handles alcohol—so be sure to watch for those moments too!

—What is your impression of this work?
I find the dialogue between the characters to be especially captivating. As more characters are introduced, the conversations become increasingly witty and dynamic, which made me feel that this story is a perfect fit for a drama CD. Now that it’s being adapted into an anime, I think the characters will feel even more vibrant and full of life.

—Tell us about your enthusiasm for playing the character.
Jill may come across as blunt and intimidating, but he’s also deeply caring toward those he respects—and I think that’s a big part of his charm. He finds Lizel especially intriguing and serves as a strong, dependable partner who brings a sense of calm and security. I’ve been voicing Jill for a while now, but this time, with a full cast recording, I’m excited to explore new dynamics and interactions with the other characters.
